Baby Lazo, Cake Smash session

I recently had the chance to do a Cake Smash session for my long-time friend's one year old baby boy. He was so good and smiled the whole time -- well almost. Toward the end, when things got really messy, he started to pout a little. You would too if you were knee-deep in birthday cake. Below are a few shots from the session. How adorable is he?

The Bianchi family, Maternity session

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of taking my sister's maternity pictures. Of course, her husband was there along with their son (my two year-old nephew) who quickly stole the show by climbing all over my old, beat up, and paint-stained step ladder -- definitely not meant to be used as a prop. But he was having such a good time that I could not pass up the opportunity to capture a few shots.  My camera shy sis and her husband also did a great job, and I love the color combination they wore for the shoot. It was really a lot of fun. I cannot wait for my niece to arrive so I can take some sweet newborn shots. I have so many ideas already!
